Imam Dawood Yasin—at once a scholar of Islam and a natural outdoorsman—will lead guided hikes through the surrounding landscape, where learning unfolds in motion rather than within walls. Rooted equally in sacred knowledge and the rhythms of the natural world, he invites participants to walk with intention, allowing breath, terrain, and silence to become teachers alongside words. Our time together will be spent hiking as a means of drawing nearer to the Divine, where each step becomes a form of remembrance and the vastness of the land sharpens inward awareness. After lunch daily, Imam Dawood will cover the seerah of our Prophet (pbuh) and after dinner he will cover teachings of tazkiya (spiritual refinement). Please note that hikes will be moderate, averaging about 5 miles with 1,000 vertical feet.
